Sick Dog

Hey Everyone!
Well I lost Sister Gage on Tuesday. That was rough. But I got my new companion, Sister Pfeifer, (Pie-furr). She has been out for almost a year. She is from Connecticut. She is really nice, energetic, and works really hard. We have a lot of differences that will lift our strengths and weaknesses. She is extremely good at talking to EVERYONE, and I save the conversations so it's not awkward hahaha. We will learn so much from each other. I've been doing her hair and makeup. That has been a lot of fun.
I got to go to the temple on Wednesday morning. The whole time I just prayed that I could love my companion and serve her till the end. Well those two requests came true.
Thursday we had to go on exchange. (we have 10 to do this transfer)  I was with Hermana Dotto, from Argentina. She's so beautiful. Well anyways I got extremely sick. The 24 hour stomach bug. So I was puking. Actually more. It was coming out both ends. I felt awful. I got really dehydrated and lost vision for a little, but Sister Dotto got me back in my bed. She took good care of me.
Well Friday, I got Sister Pfeifer back and she had the same thing as me, but she didn't make it in the bathroom. So I had to scrub puke out of the carpet, wall, her coat, chair, bucket haha. I was gagging really bad. But I am happy to say, I served her like crazy. I cleaned sooo much. I unpacked and folded and organized all her stuff so she wouldn't have to worry about it. It was a day task, but I had a few hours to relax and read The Book of Mormon. I loved that.
We found 4 new investigators this week! We have a ton of potentials. We hit the standards even after losing literally 2 full days. Those 2 days were full of appointments too. It was tough.
I was sad to find out that a man we would teach and sing to passed away, Richard Eggerg. He was 85 years old. He reminded me so much of Richard G. Scott. He missed his wife sooo much, who had passed 5 years ago. He didn't have good hearing so I had to translate everything anyone else said with my loud Gampe voice. he always relyed on my voice to hear. We found out because we went to go see him and his daughter was outside. She told us and I started to tear up. She told me that he looked forward to us coming and it always brightened his day. I know the short lessons we would have on The Plan of Salvation will give him a boost in the spirit world. He's a great man.
Tom Dean taught gospel essentials this week! It was on faith. I was so proud of him.

Another lady that we had just seen on Saturday died this morning. They don't know what happened, but her daughter, who we teach, Kristen Fusilier called and asked if we could come by. So that's what we did this morning. We shared with her Alma 40:11-12. I love that scripture.
Well I love you all so much. Sister Pfeifer is great. We will be a perfect match. I don't have a photo with her because we looked pretty awful haha. When I walked into Ward Coordination, my ward mission leader looked at us and said, "Well Sister Pfeifer looks pretty good, but Sister Gampe, your lookin a little pale." I told him I'm Porcelain, Not pale. I'm only struggling with a little upset stomach. Hopefully that goes away soon. We are working hard and will see many miracles this transfer!
-Sister Gampe
